Pesto Chicken Linguini
Those pictures are huge! And I couldn't write in that post...weird. Anyway, I just wanted to list the ingredients & say that it was my first attempt at a cream sauce & it turned out delicious. I sauteed chicken with onion, garlic, & asparagus. I added pesto sauce, fresh basil, then stirred in some heavy cream. I simmered it for about 10 minutes. Then I added the linuini that I had boiled for 6 minutes. I tried a garlic basil linguini from Trader Joe's. At first I thought that it might be garlic basil overload, but it turned out perfect! The last pic is leftover with salad & organic whole wheat batard from the farmers market. I simmered it in a pan & added extra olive oil & pesto. All the flavors were so yummy after sitting together for a couple days!
